About the Role

The Company is seeking a Career Coach to work with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, assisting them in the critical process of seeking and obtaining employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging the target population, establishing credibility, and directing their participation in the RRP Program. This role involves assessing and referring individuals to various services, screening and enrolling them in the program, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. The Career Coach will also be involved in recruiting employers and educational providers as partners, understanding their needs, and assessing clients for compatible opportunities. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of customer service experience. Knowledge of the challenges faced by the target population is preferred. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with individuals in a culturally appropriate manner, and a commitment to the core values of the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive public image, participating in outreach activities, and documenting case management activities. The ideal candidate will be able to relate to individuals in recovery and their families, and will be adept at problem-solving and identifying systemic barriers to work collaboratively on viable solutions.
