About The Role As Practice Manager , you’ll be responsible for overseeing the business and operational functions of the hospital in close partnership with the Medical Director. From driving practice performance and team engagement to optimizing daily workflows, you will play a vital role in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Management Recruit, train, and retain an engaged and motivated team. Foster professional growth through ongoing education and development opportunities. Partner with the Medical Director to lead regular staff and doctor meetings, promoting open communication and teamwork. Cultivate a positive workplace culture aligned with VetEvolve’s core values: Serve, Evolve, Trust. Address personnel issues promptly and effectively, ensuring team well-being and compliance with policies. Uphold and promote safety and security protocols within the practice. Business Operations Monitor and manage KPIs, including revenue, payroll, and staffing levels, to ensure operational efficiency and financial health. Drive growth initiatives in collaboration with the Medical Director and Regional Manager. Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain cost-effective operations. Ensure the integrity of patient and client records through proper software use and system management. Maintain hospital equipment and facilities to support high-quality patient care. Continuously seek and implement improvements across all areas of the practice. Core Competencies And Qualifications Minimum 2 years of veterinary management experience in a leadership role such as Practice Manager, Hospital Administrator, or equivalent. Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate successful teams. Strong communication skills with a collaborative leadership style. Solid financial and operational understanding, including budgeting and performance analysis. Passion for veterinary medicine, client service, and team development.
