The Software domain involves developing, deploying, managing, and maintaining software applications supporting business processes and user needs, including development, lifecycle management, requirement analysis, QA, security, and infrastructure maintenance. What you'll do Note: This list reflects current responsibilities but may include additional or changed tasks as deemed appropriate by management, observing all legal and collective bargaining obligations. Write, test, and document code, scripts, and processes following organizational standards. Solve technical problems and build impactful components and libraries. Deliver high-quality work and mentor junior engineers. Conduct root cause analysis and lead action plans. Design integrated systems enabling cross-functional teams to deliver value at scale, speed, and reliability. Manage technical debt and lead initiatives to eliminate it. Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges, guiding mitigation strategies. Collaborate with security teams to implement secure practices early in development. Assess technical risks and implement prevention strategies. Evaluate squad delivery practices, recommend improvements, and drive change. Identify and eliminate effort duplication, promoting reuse across teams. Measure team performance and support individual development. Explore emerging technologies, lead prototype development, and incorporate solutions into architecture. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in relevant technical disciplines or equivalent experience. Airline Industry experience. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), frameworks (Spring/SpringBoot, FastAPI), front-end technologies (Angular/React), deployment tools (Kubernetes, Docker), source control (GitHub, Azure DevOps), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), data management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), APIs (Kafka, REST, GraphQL), cloud providers (Azure, AWS), and test automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, Postman, etc.). Strong ability to optimize solutions for performance, reliability, and simplicity. Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, code, and diagrams. Ability to design systems that support incremental releases across multiple teams. Proficiency in object-oriented design, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
