Position Summary The Applications Analyst II is a business specialist and technology generalist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies. The role involves proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes, informing and advising customers on information system technologies' functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. The Applications Analyst II functions as a technical liaison and broker of services with various vendors. Position Details Position: Epic Radiant- Applications Analyst II Department: Ancillary Systems Schedule: Full Time Job Requirements Associate's degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience). Bachelor's degree preferred. Radiant Certification preferred. Experience At least 2+ years relevant experience in business systems analysis or related fields, including working closely with IT in system development and implementation. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of the assigned business area's products and processes. Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex technical concepts understandably. Understanding of project management in a cross-functional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of how IT impacts organizational processes. Ability to be a team player; flexible, friendly, and enthusiastic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Powerscribe and PACS. Willingness to travel to BMC locations as needed. Successful completion of Epic's certification program within 90 days of hiring. Additional Experience (Desired) Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement. Experience in strategic use of technology for business growth. Experience managing projects involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; HL7 knowledge is a plus. Experience with Powerscribe and Sectra PACS. Radiant Certification.
