About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Production Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key Finance Executive, responsible for the financial oversight of multiple projects at various production stages, from development to final tax credit collection. This role requires a high level of accuracy and compliance, as well as the ability to independently resolve production finance issues and lead a team to ensure the highest standards of performance. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in strategic cost-saving initiatives and will act as a liaison for both internal and external partners. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in production finance, and a proven track record of managing multiple productions and accounting processes. Strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency in budgeting, estimating, cash flow, cost reporting, and advanced knowledge of production finance software are essential. The role demands a leader with the ability to communicate effectively, manage relationships, and champion change, particularly in the context of finance transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, and the ideal candidate will have a background in the physical production processes, including budgeting for domestic and foreign productions, audit, currency hedge, cash flow management, and a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
