Job Details Job Details: We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Foodservice Sales Manager for the East Region in the Manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in foodservice sales, regional sales, and key account management to join our thriving team. As a Foodservice Sales Manager, you will oversee the sales team in the east region, develop and implement strategic plans to increase productivity, and drive sales growth. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our market presence and achieving our business goals. Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the East Region, addressing customer needs and market trends.
  2. Manage and expand key accounts to maintain and grow the company's customer base.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales performance indicators, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  4. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
  5. Collaborate with the management team to set sales goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with broadline distribution partners to ensure product availability and visibility.
  7. Oversee the territory development initiatives, identifying new markets and business opportunities.
  8. Manage the performance of broker sales people, ensuring they align with the company's objectives.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.
  10. Resolve customer issues and queries in a timely and professional manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in foodservice sales, with a focus on key account management and regional sales.
  3. Proven track record in managing and directing a sales team.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of key performance indicators and sales performance analysis.
  5. Experience in territory development and broadline distribution.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance data and market trends.
  9. Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  10. Ability to travel as needed.
  11. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
