Job Description

Seeking a Graveyard Dispatcher for a petroleum products company in their Paramount location:

Work schedule: Wed – Saturday PM 3pm-3am- 4 days per week, 11 hour shifts, guaranteed 3 hours of OT every day.
Project/Assignment duration: Contract to Hire
Rate of pay: $27.00/hr.
Location address: Paramount, CA
Fully in office

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for dispatch, customer service and compliance with health, safety, security and environmental regulations. Administrative duties include but are not limited to reporting, paperwork and timekeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum 2 years dispatch or transportation experience
•Minimum 1-year administrative experience
•Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials, lubricants or other industry related experience preferred
•Working knowledge (advanced proficiency preferred) in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and ability to learn new programs/applications in a timely manner
•Ability to read, spell, write and comprehend English at an intermediate level. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
•Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
•Some supervisory experience preferred
•Detail oriented
•Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Ability to function in stressful situations and remain calm
•Must be able to function independently
•High school diploma or equivalent
