Job Description
Job Title: I&E Designer III Location: Ponca City Refinery, Ponca City, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (overtime possible)
Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil & Gas clients to seek an I&E Designer III to join them on a 1 year assignment with the possibility of extension in Ponca City, OK.
Responsibilities:
Develop and modify electrical and instrumentation (E&I) drawings for Refinery Technical Services (RTS) projects.
Lead a team of designers and drafters, organizing and delegating tasks to efficiently complete projects.
Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with engineers, mechanical craftsmen, and contractors.
Qualifications:
~15+ years of CAD experience, with expertise in electrical or instrumentation design.
~ Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) .
~ Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation .
~ Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a project design team.
~ Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology (preferred).
~ Experience with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) is a plus.
