JOB DUTIES

We are looking for a candidate that is interested in working in the field of IT finance to assist in the development and implementation of policies and practices for financial management and budget control. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience to understand and follow financial trends within Information Technology.

• Assist with budget forecasting during the budget season
• Actively participate in IT finance progects as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conform with all company policies and procedures

• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business, Management, Management Information Systems, or related field with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA.
• Junior, Senior, or Masters classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel required.
• Understanding of IT finances preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Previous internships in finance a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to commit to work 40 hours for 11 consecutive weeks during the summer (May 21-August 8, 2025)
• Must participate in all GMF sponsored events for interns.
• This is a hybrid position based in Arlington, TX.
