What You'll Do:
As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the inventory of components, machines, and attachments in alignment with our production plans. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the inventory of components and attachments, ensuring stock levels align with production schedules.
  • Requesting necessary components from HQ or suppliers, based on timing and stock levels.
  • Performing regular inventory checks and reconciling any discrepancies between system and actual stock.
  • Coordinating material transit times with logistics vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Overseeing inventory for surplus, long-aging, and scrap materials.
  • Conducting cycle counts and managing back-ship processes.
  • Driving improvements in inbound transportation costs.
  • Requesting CKD components from HQ or PDC as needed.
  • Updating stock levels for major components daily, and minor components on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Preventing component and attachment shortages and addressing issues with vendors during transportation delays.
  • Regularly updating the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system and safety stock levels.
  • Managing minimum order volumes and keeping inventory well-organized and optimized.

Work Environment:
This position involves working in a warehouse setting, where you may encounter varying temperatures, humidity, and exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, odors, and dust.

Requirements:

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with SAP , including control cycles, material tracking, and movement of inventory
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain inventory or distribution operations
  • Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and related industry practices
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Excel for data management and reporting
