Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Sous Chef at The Ranch. The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen management tasks. They will also contribute to menu planning, purchasing, receiving, and maintaining kitchen sanitation and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary arts degree or relevant certification
• Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is a plus
• Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences - back of house and front of house
• Excellent in employee and guest relations
• Vegan meal preparation and cooking experience
• Flexible schedule, working weekends, and holidays
