Maintenance Electrician

• Shifts are 12 hour rotating: 1 week days and 1 week nights
• Knowledge of AC & DC motors and drives and controls.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Electrical controls, NFPA 70E, high voltage power systems.
• Experience with mechanical power transfer systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
• Perform maintenance electrical services/repairs, as well as modify/install production process equipment.
• Must be able to read/understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings, as well as understand procedures to accomplish tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Troubleshoot with PLC Programing/network configuration.
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC Systems, PLC networks, and cranes.
• Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Electrical controls, NFPA 70E, high voltage power systems.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with mechanical power transfer systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
