Pivot Precision is a privately owned (ISO 9001:2015 certified/climate controlled)machine shop located in Lockport NY. Our extensive manufacturing capabilities along with our highly qualified workforce has allowed Pivot to supply the automotive, medical, ammunition and firearm industries with specified precision tooling for over 50 years. Pivot offers comprehensive benefit packages to all our employees which include health benefits & paid time off. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This position plays an important role in ensuring that production and the facility run smoothly. The maintenance tech oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the companys equipment and facilities.

We need a motivated person that is willing to learn.

DUTIES

• Completing preventive maintenance, and inspections on production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machine shop equipment/machines.
• Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment in shop when needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records & reports for all maintenance activities performed on equipment.
• Upkeep and maintenance of the facility, parking areas, lawn equipment, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Employ good safety standards & practices.
• 70E training a plus but not necessary. 

Compensation details: 20-27 Hourly Wage
