Duration: 8-week contract
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview: LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Medical Scribe to support a confidential client. This role involves documenting patient exams and keeping the clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Transcribe medical data during patient exams.
Prepare patient charts with relevant medical information.
Record patient history, symptoms, and complaints.
Review records for accuracy before submission to physicians.
Help keep physicians on schedule.
Complete return-to-work and return-to-school forms.
Assist with scanning and cataloging paper records into the electronic system.
Perform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
Handle interruptions and distractions well.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Proofread detailed materials accurately.
Interact effectively and diplomatically with others.
Speak clearly and use appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Stay calm in the face of resistance or hostility.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic database software.
Organize and track multiple records and requests.
Flexible with work hours and able to travel to department clinics as assigned.
