Job Description
Medical Office Newport Beach is looking for a part time office medical scribe/assistant:
Duties include:
- Answering phone and communicating with patients.
- Maintain office schedule for new and established patients.
- Prepare patient charts for office visits.Pulling and filing charts,
- Checking patients in/out, processing/collecting payments, verifying and collecting updated patient demographics
- Prepare exam rooms and room patients
- Doing vitals, helping doctor in the exam room, get actual hands on experience with patients and scribing notes.
- Understand PPO/HMO insurance, verify eligibility and benefits.
- Excellent customer service, telephone and computer skills.
- Experience in word, excel, data entry and electronic medical records.
- Ability to be organized, cheerful and multi-task in an office environment.
