Position Title: Packaging Operator - Cheese Manufacturing

Wage:

• 1st Shift: $19.50/hr
• 2nd Shift: $21.50/hr ($19.50 base + $2.00 shift premium)

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 4:00am – 4:00pm | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
• Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
• Week 2: Wed, Thurs

• 2nd Shift Options (4:00pm – 4:00am):
• Option A: Friday–Sunday, every other weekend
• Option B: Monday–Tuesday, every other week
• Option C: Wednesday–Thursday, every other week

Join a leading cheese manufacturer as a Packaging Operator , where you'll help ensure top-quality packaging, labeling, and shipping of products. This is a hands-on role in a clean, fast-paced, and safety-focused environment—ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, teamwork, and food safety standards.

Packing Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure product quality.
- Enter work orders and item codes, weigh and label blocks.
- Box cheese and perform quality control checks.
- Palletize and move finished products to staging areas.
- Close work orders and record shipment information.
- Perform setup, calibration, and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Sanitize equipment and packaging areas per procedures.

Packing Operator Requirements:
-High school degree or equivalent (GED), preferred.
-Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
-Lift 20-30lbs repetitively, flipping and lifting product above shoulder height and from waist down to floor level pallets
-Strong operation control and monitoring skills.
-Basic math skills for weight measurement and counts.
-Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents and instructions.
-Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
-Forklift certified (training and certification provided internally).
-Must be quality focused and able to follow GMP requirements and food safety requirements
