Job Description

This position is open to a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process.

• The role involves reviewing electronic medical records and conducting focused in-person physical exams on Veterans.

• Documentation of exam findings is done electronically; the role does not include making disability determinations, treating patients, or prescribing medication.

• Typically performing 3-5 assessments daily, the position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 8a-4p) with part-time options available, all in a clinical, in-person setting.

• Key attributes include interest in Independent Medical Assessments, strong data analysis skills, time management, current unrestricted NP or PA license, and proficiency with computers.
