Our client, a premier supplier of high-quality, and reliable service, is seeking Welder/Fabricators. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the welding and/or metal fabrication field and is eager to learn and grow within the organization.
 
Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Longwood, FL
Pay: $16.00 – 18.00

What’s the Job?

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment
• Set up and operate conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes.
• Use safe work habits.

What’s Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience in welding and/or metal fabrication
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to operate and work with tools and equipment that generate noise, vibration, and heat.
