Job Description

Introduction:

You’re the definition of a true technologist—you use words like invent, innovate, and disrupt. You get excited not about today’s technology, but the future of AR, VR, Robotics, and AI/ML.

Join the dynamic team at our leading Innovation Lab in the Greater Seattle Area. We’re at the forefront of technological advancements, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. If you’re a passionate Senior Software Engineer driven by innovation and eager to solve complex challenges, this is the place for you.

Do you thrive on new digital technology? Are you looking to be part of a large-scale transformation?

In this role, you’ll oversee the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions, ensuring successful deployment of released applications. You’ll also provide insights and recommendations to shape our roadmap and maintain the overall health of our portfolio.

Job Description:

Are you excited about using emerging technologies to create cutting-edge customer experiences? We’re building next-generation capabilities in areas like 3D visualization, mixed reality, robotics, and other forward-looking platforms that are shaping the future of digital interaction.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer – Spatial Computing to lead design efforts for 3D user experiences across spatial computing hardware and software. You’ll own end-to-end UX/UI execution—crafting user flows, wireframes, 3D prototypes, 2D interface elements, and stakeholder presentations.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-impact design solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with spatial computing environments, mobile interfaces, and 3D engines to design intuitive, immersive, and accessible experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Craft user-centric, intuitive interfaces for spatial computing experiences, including AR/VR, immersive 3D environments, and native mobile applications.

  • Design UI elements that enable natural, hands-free interactions through modalities such as eye-tracking, gesture recognition, and voice, ensuring smooth integration with 3D systems.

  • Drive end-to-end design execution—from concept through deployment—ensuring a consistent experience across spatial and traditional 2D platforms by collaborating with cross-functional partners.

  • Apply 3D tools and real-time engines to develop UI components that work effectively in spatial environments while aligning with mobile UI standards.

  • Build and iterate on interactive prototypes to validate design choices, incorporating user feedback through structured testing and continuous refinement.

  • Monitor emerging best practices in spatial interface design, immersive technologies, and mobile UI/UX to continuously evolve design approaches.

  • Define scalable spatial UI frameworks with clear visual structure, seamless interactivity, and a strong sense of immersion, while also delivering high-quality 2D designs for mobile apps.

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure designs are executable within technical and performance constraints, contributing to the successful release of polished, functional products.

  • Produce clear and timely deliverables—including wireframes, UX flows, clickable demos, visual assets, and presentation materials—for team reviews and leadership alignment.

  • Provide mentorship and feedback to less experienced designers, helping to elevate team capabilities and design outcomes.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing interfaces for 3D applications, including spatial UX, UI design, and real-time engine development.

  • Demonstrated success launching at least one commercial or consumer-facing product in gaming, AR/VR, immersive media, or experiential retail.

  • Deep experience using real-time 3D platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Reality Composer Pro, or NVIDIA Omniverse, along with 3D modeling software.

  • Strong grasp of user experience design, interactive systems, and user-centered design principles across spatial environments and traditional mobile platforms (with a focus on iOS).

  • Skilled in 2D design and visual asset creation using industry-standard tools.

  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping and usability testing platforms to validate design concepts and improve user engagement.

Preferred Experience:

  • Skilled in designing intuitive iOS interfaces with a strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and native design conventions.
  • Experience creating hands-free interaction models leveraging technologies such as eye-tracking, gesture recognition, and voice-driven input.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
