Our construction company is looking for a skid steer operator to work on grading and excavation. Operators should be able to work with and understand skid steer and excavator operation. Ideal candidates will have transportation to and from job sites. Position will require experience trenching, backfilling, rough grading & finish grading, loading & unloading materials.

Pay will be comparable to experience, and skill set.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Operate skid steer daily
• Finish Grading experience
• Flexibility to climb in/out of large equipment
• Mobility to operate equipment
• Occasionally Labor
• Good communication skills
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Accuracy: Ensure precise grading and leveling according to project requirements, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Create level surfaces, grade slopes to specifications, remove material and thoroughly fill voids.
• Performs all work in a safe, efficient manner, following routine and all standards of performance.
• Ability to read blueprints and shoot grades is a plus and preferred.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
• Knowledge of finishing techniques and the ability to achieve smooth and uniform surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

Expected hours are 40-50 per week but can change with weather, etc.

Full time, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Most work is in Polk County but includes Central and Southwest Florida.
