Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Skid Steer Operator to support operations at our MSHA-regulated cement plant. This role involves both equipment operation and manual labor tasks to ensure plant cleanliness, safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate skid steer loaders to move raw materials, debris, and assist with general plant functions.
Perform general labor duties including shoveling, sweeping, and assisting with cleanup operations throughout the plant.
Load and unload materials and assist with plant maintenance as needed.
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the skid steer and report issues promptly.
Follow all MSHA safety regulations and company procedures.
Work outdoors and in dusty, noisy environments for extended periods.
Collaborate with plant supervisors and coworkers to meet daily production and safety goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating skid steers or similar heavy equipment in an industrial or construction setting.
Willingness and physical ability to perform manual labor in addition to equipment operation.
MSHA certification (We provide training).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, and stand for long periods.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
Team-oriented attitude and effective communication skills.
