Job Description

SUMMARY: Responsible to provide supportive and/or direct services to special education students, general education teachers, administrators and parents/guardians on behalf of students who qualify or may qualify for special education services.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree, current Michigan teaching certificate with a LD and/or EI endorsement in Special Education, and three years of successful special education teaching experience preferred.

Support ISD TC model regarding re-evaluations at secondary level, Catamaran Resource, Monitor LRE Data, Attend District SPED Audit, Attend CST Committee Meetings, PD opportunities for all buildings, Assist with BIP/FBA, Monitor FBA/BIPS Data, Documentation Support - MDRs, VI/PI TC support for students, Health care plan support, Serve as a caseload manager, Provide classroom instruction as assigned, Other duties as assigned

Salary: Based on Teacher Contract and Salary Schedule
Reports To: Principal, Superintendent, and Special Education Supervisor
