Lead Therapist - Behavioral Health

Reports suspicion of drug use or other safety concerns immediately to program manager. Conduct drug screens as necessary with the assistance of the outpatient nurse.

• Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance use problems.
• Demonstrates the ability to actively engage patients in a group setting, fostering group discussions and leading the group in a therapeutic manner.
• Offers tools and resources to conduct group therapy.
• Displays heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients. Works with patient to achieve treatment plan goals and accurately documents progress. • Master's degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or Rehabilitation Counseling
• Previous experience in a chemical dependency outpatient care, with direct experience working with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis patients preferred
• Current unencumbered clinical licensure in the state applicable to the facility
• CPR and CPI training within 30 days of employment
