Job Description:

The Title Curative Processor is responsible for reviewing title reports and working with internal departments to resolve title issues, ensuring properties can proceed through the foreclosure process efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review title reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Examine date-down endorsements provided by title companies.
  • Verify the accuracy of Affidavits of Authority.
  • Analyze chain of title with a focus on assignment accuracy.
  • Review bankruptcy cases as they relate to title processing.
  • Interpret and analyze title chains and parcel maps.
  • Assess mortgage documents, loan documents, and appraisals.
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
  • Communicate with clients via multiple online platforms.
  • Identify and resolve title issues independently.
  • Perform general office tasks, including copying, filing, and answering phones.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Proficiency in reviewing mortgage and loan documents.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to policies and procedures and quickly learn new processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in mortgage industry, foreclosure, escrow, or title preferred.
