Summary

We are seeking a Configuration Manager to join our team at EIT, Inc. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all aspects of configuration management are effectively implemented and maintained across our projects. The Configuration Manager will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional engineering and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement configuration management plans for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in configuration management.
• Oversee the configuration management database (CMDB) to maintain accurate records of system configurations.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify configuration requirements and changes.
• Manage version control processes for software and hardware components.
• Facilitate audits and assessments related to configuration management practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Configuration Manager or similar role in engineering or government environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices in configuration management.
• Experience with Active Directory, Linux systems, and disaster recovery processes is preferred.
• Proficient in using tools such as AWS, Excel, and database management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical field.
