Our client, a men's apparel brand, is seeking a Senior Designer for men's sportswear categories to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for managing staff in all aspects of entire product design process to include: market research, mood board creation, designing, sketching, specs and fit. Sets clear goals and objectives for team
• Proactively seeks opportunities to positively affect category and grow the business.
• Responsible for shopping the retail markets, keeping abreast of seasonal trends and Men’s fashion shows
• Nurtures talent from within and provides appropriate coaching, feedback and support to foster improved performance and maximize individual growth.
• Continuously seeks new ways of understanding the business and develops self and direct reports to better prepare for future
• Ability to set a creative tone and to inspire ideas / new concepts.
• Presentations at milestone meetings in front of larger audience and executive team members.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of full-time professional Men’s design experience.
• In-depth knowledge of design techniques and processes.
• Strong communication skills with proven success to positively influence partners to meet business goals.
• Excellent leadership / management skills with the ability to deal with managerial issues.
