Barton Associates is seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist for an 88-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in North Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime and 10-hour days. Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide radiation oncology care, primarily for breast, lung, and prostate cases
Perform IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments
Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards
Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
Collaborate with the oncology team for SBRT case reviews
Utilize Epic, Mosaiq, and Ray Station planning systems
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Participate in treatment planning and patient care conferences
Additional Information:
Must be board-certified in Radiation Oncology
Active North Carolina medical license required
Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS techniques essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
