We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our Hospitality team in our Santa Monica office.

Essential Functions

1. Function as integral part of deal team and have ability to effectively interface with senior management and clients.
2. Mentor and instruct Associates, Analysts and other team members on tools and methods for underwriting, creation of marketing collateral, and otherwise executing their responsibilities.
3. Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis.
4. Prepare presentations and other materials for clients, including pitch, proposal and marketing collateral.
5. Research and participate in strategic planning to find optimal capital markets solutions.
6. Facilitate client meetings and entertainment events.

Education and Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, advisory, or a combination of both.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality asset class and market required.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

1. Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of real estate transactions with advanced underwriting techniques and deep understanding of equity and debt capitalization structures.
2. Ability to conceptualize real estate investment opportunities within the framework of relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic factors.
3. Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team setting.
5. Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to completion independently within agreed upon deadlines.
7. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
8. Display strong sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
9. Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative exempt staff member to be licensed as appropriate in the respective region.
